My 2 goof balls

We took advantage of a hot day and played in the sprinkler.  If you look closesly at Ileana's bangs you can see that she gave herself a trim.  yay...  it could have been worse I guess.  I wish I could get a pic of Ikaia smiling, but he gets sooo wiggly when he smiles that all my pics come out blurry.  I need a good camera.....

Here is Ikaia at 6 weeks, although he is now 7 weeks :)  But I haven't had a chance to post anything lately so I am back tracking.  

He spit up in the middle of taking pics.  But I posted anyways.

Mercer Arboreteum

We went to Mercer last weekend.  It was sooo beautiful!  So many flowers in bloom.  And they have expanded it soooo much.  So the kids had fun finding all the turtles, fish and butterflies.  Mychaila even found a snake.  These aren't the greatest pics of the kids, but I thought I post any way. 

Ikaia is 5 weeks old now.  He is a pretty good baby, but a little high maintance.  And he never takes a second nap.  What the heck!!  He just stays up till 7 or 8 and then finally goes to sleep.  Kinda hard to get things done.  Was really hoping for a good sleeper...His first nap is AWESOME though.  So I have to run to get everything done in that first nap, including dinner.  Maybe he will get better as he gets older.  Oh, and he might be teething.  Seriously.  He has been crying more, and yesterday he started drooling horribly.  So we shall see.

He adores his little brother.  While making dinner he held the pacifier in his mouth just to keep him happy.  This was without me asking too.

 Ikaia is a month today.  He is starting to smile more often, just haven't caught it on camera yet.  He has a dimple on each side, and his lashes are already growing in.

Ikaia 18 days old

It is kinda hard to get a clear pic.  He keeps moving. ;)  Ikaia is pretty good nature, and very attentive.  He lets us kiss him up, which we do ALL the time.  And he LOVES to cuddle.  He has HUGE hands and long fingers.  No surprise there.
