6 weeks old and full of smiles!

Hurricane Ike
Our house before the Hurricane hit. We boarded up the downstairs with whatever wood we could find around the house, and then we all slept down stairs. We could hear lots of things hitting the wood in the middle of the night. It got really loud outside as well.
This is our neighborhood after the storm. There were trees down everywhere. Almost everyhouse had a tree down or a fence. These are just a few of the pics.
This hotel is right outside our neighborhood. We also just found out that the Macy's at the mall right by us had it's roof colapse.
Here is our house after the storm. The only thing that happened was the two bushes by the door fell down, and big branches in the yard. We were very blessed.
We had no electricity for 11 days. So we used a propane grill outside and the smoker to cook our meals
We kept part of the boards up to block out the sun, since we had no a/c. Getting out of the house through this door was a pain. Pono tried once, it was quite humorous. We took off a few more boards after that.
Clean up after the storm.
Everyone brought all the rubbish from the storms to the street for pick up. It was hard to drive down some of the streets because there was so much.

Happy Birthday Papa Nui!!!
Papa Nui we miss you. Wish we could be there to celebrate your birthday. We love you. 
Ileana is almost 4 weeks old. Time flies fast. As of today, she is 9 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches long. We are excited that she can finally fit her clothes.
These boys love there little sister. Napela constantly rubs her head and says "Hi". He will tell her "It's ok, don't cry" when she is sad, and even ssshhhhs her when he holds her. Ani adores her as well. He whispers in her ear all day "I love you" And yesterday he announced that he wanted to marry Ileana. Today he was even able to calm her (with mommy's help) while holding her and ssshhhing her. Both boys are very tender to her.
Napela looks at her with such love when he holds her, I just love it.
Mychaila is really enjoying 2nd grade, and she is doing really well. Her reading is getting better and smoother, and she is awesome in math. It is her favorite subject. She is loving having a new sister as well, and she can't wait to paint her nails.
Napela two favorite toys at the moment. He is so silly.

Family Night
We made pizza together tonight. The kids had a blast making their own.

The kids had fun running the dogs. Probably the most exercise the dogs have seen in awhile, they were really excited.
