Forth of July weekend we spent at Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston. We thought it was supposed to start at 8, but it did not start till after ten. So we had to get a bit creative with entertainment in the mean time. It was a lot of fun, but next time, I think we will stay a little closer to home.

firework show.

The two boys during the fireworks.
Ani Loved the fireworks, as long as his ears were
covered. And
Napela just needed to sit with someone, they freaked him out a little, but he did good. A few days later, while
Pono and I were
substituting in primary, we asked the kids in
Ani's class how they liked the fireworks,
Napela was the first to answer with "Loud...loud."

One of the few ways of entertaining the kids. Here is
Ani rolling down the big hill. He had so much fun.

Here is the crew. We all showed up for the fireworks.
