throwing

Just recently we started playing around with the football.  We have had a blasted throwing and kicking it around!

Kickin' around

yes, I am putting one video per post.  Kids kickin around the football

Ileana

We had a massive hawk soaring around our street today.  Ileana is telling you about it dad

Family time.

This is mostly for Daddy.  He used to play basketball with the kids all the time.  So he wanted to see them shooting around.

One of the many reasons why I stay so busy.  He must get to the highest point of everything!  Today we removed the couch from blocking the stairs, seeing that he climbed OVER it today.  So, we will be teaching him not to go upstairs and next week not to climb up on the table.

The next door neighbors have this cool little kids motorized car.  Their son doesn't ride it, so they have been letting our kids ride it. Ikaia LOVES riding in it.
This past Sunday we went to the park and had a picnic.  It was wonderful to enjoy the sun again.  It has been raining so much.
Ileana of course slipped in a big puddle.  So of course the only option would be for her to strip to her panties....ugh....
Here are her clothes drying....we had walked to the park, not exactly like we could run home.
Ileana wearing my jacket to keep warm.  Got to love those pouty lips!
more videos to come, just wanted to post before my computer froze.

One more

Seeing that my computer is uploading videos right now, I thought I would upload one more.  Here is Ikaia when he first started walking.  When we went to a friends house they had a grocery cart, and he just took off as fast as he could.  This video doesn't give it justice.  He just kept going back and forth running into things.

Ikaia taking a stroll

Here daddy, now you can see him walking around.  He is slightly pigeon footed, but he is figuring out the shoes.

Birthday Boy

Ikaia turned 1 this week.  I feel it monumental.  He is our last baby, and now he is a little toddler.  I am so glad we are done...I am done, but all the same here I sit with a very active little boy and not a squishy baby.  He is a great caboose though!  The best caboose I could hope for.  This boy is constant smiles and movement.  Curious about EVERYTHING and so completely determined.  There is no barricade nor height that deters this baby.  No obstacle to small to say the least.  It is about near impossible to get a picture of his face. He just doesn't sit still.  He LOVES food, and eats everything.  Thank heavens.  Initially he was weary of veggies, but only in the jar.  Once he had the real thing, he gobbled them up. He loves his sweets the best, he giggles and dances when he gets any.  He stopped babbling when Daddy moved, but has since started his constant babble again.  We love this little Sir, and couldn't enjoy him more!  Happy Birthday Ikaia!  We love you!

Daddy, since you weren't here for his birthday, I thought I would post all the favorite things he likes to do.  He LOVES playing peek a boo in the curtains.  I wish the lighting was better since this is one of my few pics with him looking and smiling.
Ani playing with Ikaia.  He LOVES his brothers and sisters.

More peek a boo, and a little better lighting.
He has figured out how to open the guinea pig cage.  He loves to harrass that poor thing.
Yum, birthday dinner.  Fruit and grilled cheeese.  Yep, went simple.  That is just how it goes, but he loves his fruit.
The kiddos sang and wished him Happy Birthday all day.  He recieved plenty of attention today!
He other favorite love is bath time.  I think he would stay in all day if he could.
He climbs all day as well, and just recently figured out how to climb into his high chair.  I can't exactly leave him there to take a pic, so I have no pics of that.  Happy birthday my little Monkey!
I have a video that was taking to long to upload, so I will try again tonight.
